AESA-Core is designed to test the linear regression model learning goals of an applied econometrics course that follows an introductory course in probability and statistics. It is composed of the same 16 multiple-choice questions about linear regression models that are included in the broader Applied Econometrics Skills Assessment (AESA). The AESA-Core questions have been piloted inside and outside Cornell.
